Rah, apologies. I had posts planned out for the week and it slipped past me. I've come off a rather medical-focused week full of pokings and proddings and other such sundries.
Mmm, fun times.
Low profiles are quite dull to maintain, though. I have fallen behind on all the cool kids out there in the Blogoverse and am catching up on their latest posts before I launch into the next round of entries here at Cute, Queer, Canadian.
In the meantime, I thought I would share some mind-blowing news for all the queer ladies in the GTA. I will state now: I am in love with Felicia Day. She's a multi-faceted, soft-spoken, sharp nerd who just so happens to be hot enough to leave third degree burns on the ol' retinas. Need proof? Well, I am glad to oblige:
You are welcome. Anyhow, it's been a while since I visited her high-traffic, nerd-tastic blog (where she reviews sci fi and fantasy novels in between other fantastic posts, FYI) and I think I just about stopped my heart in the process.
SHE WAS FILMING A NEW PROJECT IN TORONTO LAST MONTH.
Not just that, she was crashing in HAMILTON of all places in her down time. Why am I so tempted to visit all the recommended coffee places she mentions in her wrap-up blog from her trek to The Great White North?
HOW WAS I NOT AWARE OF THIS EARLIER? Confound. She was filming a new project for Syfy called Red, a "dark and modern adaptation of [the] Red Riding Hood fairy tale," according to her personal blog. It's not out until 2011, though. Double confound. Though, the stills from the shoot are quite promising:
Sure helps with the recovery efforts, let me tell you.
