ELF HAUL

I placed an order with Elf during their 50% Bonanza. First, I must stipulate that their delivery was rapid, the items were dispatched yesterday and arrived this morning. Service.

Now, the thing with brushes is that
1. I never use them
2. It doesn't seem very rational to pay £50 for make up brushes.
The Stipple Brush does feel a bit plasticy but all in all i like them.

Lashes.A girl needs lashes. Many of them.

Now I'm in need of a primer so this was a given. I haven't tried it on my face + my face tends to get over the day so these blotting sheets should do the trick.

Dress-New Look/Cardigan-New Look/Shoes-Primark
I’m feeling very vintage as of late, very Madame like. Maybe it’s the sunshine, maybe it’s not exfoliating- to that- I used to exfoliate EVERYDAY, especially my face. Everyday I practically scrubbed my face with Sand etc. Seriously dudes my face was sore, irritated and flaky. And I thought that was normal.  *shaking head*

So yeah i was informed that that was actually the worst thing that I could do to my face. Up until last week I was a cleanser-virgin. I have never cleansed my face EVER. I totally recommend Lush’s 9 to 5 cleanser. It’s Lush, see what I did there???

So from now on. moisturising daily, exfoliating at most 3x a week…..

I’m probably the last person on this planet that hasn’t reviewed this so in short, i like it a lot, ist quite different from my usual nail colours and I did get some compliments on them…some man though it was magic…

Foundation Review- DiorSkin Nude

Hallöchen
In one of my previous posts i mentioned that I got the DiorSkin Nude in 070, soo here I go…
IMG_0203
My friend kindly offered to apply the foundation for me, also here you can see the golden tinge in the foundation. I like how the colour is not flat but more golden. I was going to get, well i did buy the Nars Matte Foundation but as I was walking out Selfridges, I spotted the Dior stand and yeahhh rest is history
to the application

I like how it gives me an airbrushed feel, its not flat and lifeless instead it gives me a golden glow

even coverage, also I don’t like using finishing powder because I hate caking it on. Here, even 1 thin layer was enough…
Verdict: All in all, very happy with it. The foundation retails for £29 which is reasonable( Dior, nuff said). It is quite cheaper than its other Dior counterparts, seeing its a mineral foundation
4/5

Not One But Two Nail Polish Reviews

101 Barry M Nail Polish in Racing Green-My absolute fave at the moment. I’ve been wearing it for the past 4 weeks straight…I usually change nail colour weekly

Nails Inc. in Savile Row, it was free with this months glamour and to be honest i don’t get the appeal, don’t get me wrong its nice but it ain’t special…a bit dull.

I’m really sorry that I’m not blogging more frequent but my 2nd year @  uni is a bitch let me tell you. As we speak i am slowly failing my law degree….

everything’s just too much effort, toooo much effort and I ‘m far to lazy…

Supermarket Sweep, well not exactly…

DSCF1345

So I went home for reading week and completely forgot to pack my face scrub and cleanser, so during the local grocery shop i nipped into the toiletry section and found these

  1. Tesco’s Vitamin E Face Scrub £1
  2. Tesco’s Vitamin E Cleanser

and my i must say, I'm totally in love with them. I didn't expect much and was just looking for quick fixes but i might incorporate these gems into my daily routine. You don’t understand how soft my skin felt after using the cleanser and it’s only a pound so…

also I know I haven’t been regular with posting, uni and stuff kept me occupied but I'm back and I decided to post more make up and fashion looks. Also keep an eye out for some YouTube videos coming your way…

Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub

Pro’s: Lovely smell, good texture

Con’s: Don’t get me wrong it’s a good scrub but i do find it only gets rid of superficial dirt but for a wash and go scrub it’s very good.

Overall: 3/5
