ELF HAUL

I placed an order with Elf during their 50% Bonanza. First, I must stipulate that their delivery was rapid, the items were dispatched yesterday and arrived this morning. Service.

Now, the thing with brushes is that 

1. I never use them 

2. It doesn't seem very rational to pay £50 for make up brushes.

The Stipple Brush does feel a bit plasticy but all in all i like them. 

Lashes.A girl needs lashes. Many of them. 

Now I'm in need of a primer so this was a given. I haven't tried it on my face + my face tends to get over the day so these blotting sheets should do the trick.

Few Bits And Bobs...

I've been anticipating the release of Sleek's Caribbean Collection, especially since i'm obsessed with Orange at the moment. I love the colours, very pigmented and creamy. The pout polish smells divine...

I picked up these absolute bargains at Miss Selfridge for a pound each. I saw them online and nearly bought them, glad i didn't! 

Exams, are over and for now I'm vegetating around, but only for a little while next week I'm off to London, the week after I'm gracing Germany with  my presence...and after that I'm setting off for something very exciting indeed. But for now, the days are as long as they are endless...

Make Up 'n' Shit...

Mes recent Make up purchases. Decided to get some Bourjois stuff, always stayed well clear because lets face it ya dont make foundation suitable for me so....

But i must say apart from their foundation their products are good, especially their eyeshadows.

The beauty uk pallet is my absolute favourite, the colours are really suitable for my tone. It's really pigmented which came as a surprise seeing i only paid £3 for it. 

LOVE

My 'ultimate' goal this summer is to get a 'glow'. This looks like it might do the trick. Being sleek i thought it would be a tad bit more pigmented( which it isn't, at all!) I'm not too fond of sleek as of late, i may still hold a grudge since that sale fiasco. I was going to try out Sleek's new Luminaire concealer but even the darkest colour wasn't a near/close enough match.

When i opened this first i was like no way, you might not see it in the picture (sorry used my bb for these, left my battery charger at home) it's fluorescent pink, circus pink. But i still bought it, it looks really nice when applying just a touch of it. 

I'm still swamped in revision so outfit posts will have to wait for now ( I'm living in pijama bottoms and a mahoosive jumper at the moment). Before i forget i picked up a Superdrug Beauty Card, which lets face it will be used very often in my case.

But In more relevant news,my thoughts and prayers are with Japan. I was watching the news as the first images of the disatser came in, put a downer on my day! I will donate( from the little i have) because it's just too tragic. Also with the explosion of the nuclear plant, one can only prepare for the worst and hope for the best. :((

Revlon Nail Varnish & Lipstick

I thought I was smiling here...
Lately, I've bee really into Nail Varnish. This is Revlon's 050 White On White. I really like it, although I was a bit worried about my nails looking a bit TipEx-ish, but 

On my lip, Revlon's 663 Va Va Violet, it's a dark dark plum ( darker than in the picture) and it's different. I like it.

Apart from that Uni is doing my head in, I have no drive for it whatsoever...exams soon... :(

Kiko Make Up Milano

I’ve never heard of Kiko, but seeing that they were an Italian Brand and quite new on the Market ( in Germany) i had to try it out. Their store made me compare them to MAC, caked up to perfection assistants who were really nice and muuuuchhhh make up. Everything was so shiny. Reviews of each item will follow soon. Anyone know about Kiko,and what are your thoughts???

Blue Just Took Over / Blau, Wie Meine Seele

jeden Samstag waehrend Xfactor greift mich die Langeweile und was machen wir??? Well, entweder ueberfallen mich meine Mitbewohner mit Make Up oder sie ueberlassen mir selber den Farbtopf …well letzten Samstag hab ich dann ne Liebesaffaere mit der Farbe blau begonnen, und dies ist dabei herausgesprungen


every Saturday while Xfactor is on,my flatmates and I generally loose it, not because of the shitty acts but because we are eternally bored so what do we do? Yup we experiment with make up, this is what i conjured…

Bin zwar etwas spaet mit disem Review… ich hab mir letzte woche dieses Barry M Nail Effects Nagellack bei Superdrug besorgt und ich muss sagen mir gefaellts. Ein coat und ‘schwup di wup’ hab ich ‘n’ muster auf’m Nagelbett. Ist mal was anderes und fuer £3.49 richtig gut, so daumen hoch…


I’m probably the last person on this planet that hasn’t reviewed this so in short, i like it a lot, ist quite different from my usual nail colours and I did get some compliments on them…some man though it was magic…

Lips:
For my lips I used 2 different violet/plum shades

• Rimmel Volume Booster Lipstick in 067-Rosetto
• Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 663-Va Va Violet

I used the Revlon for the outer part of my lipstick then filled in the rest with the Rimmel lipstick.
Also, my friend got some ridiculous eyelashes a la Chloe Mafia

Eyelashes are Massive!!!!



yeah we went all chavvy with her face( for the non uk people- trashy, trailer trashy chic) Like a Vicky Pollard but beautiful.

New Goodies

Went to Selfridges with a friend the other day and got some lovely new shiny foundation and some make up

Diorskin Nude, It’s soooo nice, I’ve found my foundation! It’s in 070 Dark Brown

I also went by the Nars Stand and got ‘Nars The Multiple’ in the colour South Beach. It’s like an all purpose stick for eyes, lips and body. I must say Nars stuff is nice, the stick is so smooth and it just melts on the skin. Unreal.

One Day I Went To Aldi

Again I’m the firm believer that make up gems can be found where you least expect them so looky here what I found. It’s from a brand called Lacura( it’s Aldi’s own brand Make up but their skin care line has generated rave reviews, apparently it rivalled high end skin care stuff) So i picked up this Nude Lipstick in Chestnut 416 and I must say it’s the best nude I have, it suits my tone and also moistures my lips, plus it smells divine. It was  £1.99, i will get more and will also check out their skin care stuff everyone's been raving about so reviews on that soon :)

All I have been doing since my exams finished was relaxing and eating, so I have been neglecting this blog a little well i did post picture posts.

Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in  Bronze Beauty. it’s soo nice.

Sleek’s Pout Polish- This is my fave at the moment.
