YouTube Gem: communitychannel

YouTube is stunning for the random delights it caters to. More impressive than that is its ability to bring entertaining, relevant content to you.

I realize this is stating the obvious to a sea of Internet readers, but I mention it now for the sheer fact that YouTube brought me to this woman --> Code Name: communitychannel (aka. Natalie)

She's pulled in a massive number of followers in her home nation, Australia, and from the ranks of the international crowd with her quick wit and quirks. She overflows with charm, she's observant with film trends and social/personal commentaries, and she is unabashed in her nerdom. (RE: She sports a pair of Battlestar Galactica dog tags on a daily basis. Now that is true dedication to a fantastic sci fi series.)

Without further ado, I invite readers to share in the captivating quality of this vlogette as she travels to the U.S. for the infamous San Diego Comic Con (July 24, 2009):

And, because I love discussions about music, here's Natalie's take on the secret meaning of mix CDs (Nov. 3, 2009):

Delightful. And she's got even more videos dedicated to the Wonderful World of the Comic Con (and yes, the titles required capital letters). I look forward to checking out the rest of her arsenal and watching her posts to come.

YouTube FTW.
